Whiskey Barrel lids are unique unto each other. Every barrel lid has irregularities and imperfections that give them the characteristics you see on each different lid. Because of this you will see some amount of gaps between the pieces of wood. We do our best to get these as tight as possible to minimize the gap when we glue. Due to the real aging process used in production you'll usually see
imperfections in the wood and fit. The lids are very rustic, which adds
to their charm.
